Build a life that feels meaningful, connected, and truly yours with support for anxiety, stress, and life transitions, and more.
You might be here because…
Many people seek therapy in Rhode Island because they’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward.
Maybe you’ve noticed:
Overthinking or anxiety that won’t seem to shut off
Feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or emotionally drained
Disconnection in relationships or difficulty communicating
Procrastination or shutting down when things really matter
A desire for a stronger sense of direction, healing, growth or support in life
You want to find more meaning, purpose, enjoyment, or connection in daily life
A sense that life could feel more meaningful but you’re not sure how to get there
If any of this resonates, you’re not alone and you don’t have to figure it out on your own. Change is possible and the right support can help.
How We Can Help
Compassionate Perspectives offers therapy in Rhode Island for anxiety, stress, relationships, and life transitions, and more.
With a focus on real-life change beyond the therapy room.
Support Between Sessions
Therapy doesn’t stop when the session ends.
To support your growth over time, we provide a personalized therapy guide tailored just for you, through your secure client portal, including key takeaways, practical skills, and optional goals to help you stay connected to the work between sessions.

A Different Approach to Therapy
Our approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with other evidence-based practices when helpful.
Rather than trying to eliminate stress or uncertainty, we work on helping you:
Notice what’s showing up internally
Create space from unhelpful patterns
Take action based on what truly matters to you
Therapy is one hour a week — but your life is lived in the other 167 hours we aren’t meeting.
Our goal is to help you build skills that carry into your everyday life, so the work you do in session leads to meaningful change outside of it.
